The Wells by Shea Properties: Pads available

A 630,000 square–foot commercial retail development by Shea Properties has opened Phase I. Located off the Maricopa-Casa Grande Highway less than two miles from John Wayne Parkway, this center will incorporate complimentary big box retail, a hotel, multi-family residential units, and office space. Walmart opened its doors to a crowd of shoppers on May 20, 2009, and a Walgreens is constructed and anticipated to open by summer 2010.

Holiday Inn Express & Suites with Restaurant Pads available

Planning has begun for the development of a Holiday Inn Express and Suites at this location just south of the intersection of Hathaway Ave and John Wayne Parkway.


Maricopa Grand Professional Village, by UTAZ: Sites and pads available

At the northwest corner of Smith Enke and Porter Road, this development includes the City’s first brick-and-mortar library facility which opened to the public in June 2009. The remainder of the center will include office and medical suites.


Sonoran Creek by Sonoran Creek, LLC: Phase I Building Plans Approved

Sonoran Creek, located at the southwest corner of Edison Road and John Wayne Parkway. Phase I buildings are approved for construction, and infrastructure improvements are completed making this a shovel-ready development.

Trinity Crossing Center

Trinity Crossing Center is located just south of the new Walmart Center on Porter Road. The site comprises 21 acres of land and is suitable for businesses needing commercial or light industrial zoning (CB-2 and I-1). Portions are under construction.


Edison Place

Located at the southeast corner of Edison Road and John Wayne Parkway, Phase I includes a Big O Tires.

Maricopa Station

125,000 square feet of retail space will be located on the northeast corner of Smith Enke Road and John Wayne Parkway, behind the existing CVS Pharmacy.


Maricopa Marketplace II

A 105,000 square foot development is planned for construction on the northeast corner of John Wayne Parkway and Edison Road, and has already secured tenants such as Arizona Federal Credit Union and Ruby Tuesday’s. In-line retail shops are ready for permitting.


Stonegate Center by Interra: Site plan review approved

Located directly to the west of The Wells, this center will incorporate big box retail developments as well as other retail, restaurant, and entertainment amenities.


Desert Cedars Plaza by Desert Cedars Equities: Under plan review

This plaza will be located at the northeast corner of Bowlin Road and John Wayne Parkway.


Vestar Development Co.: Conceptual stages only

Located directly to the west of The Wells, this center will incorporate big box retail developments as well as other retail, restaurant, and entertainment amenities.
