Size and Location

Maricopa is located just 16 miles southwest of Phoenix, and 32 miles from Sky Harbor Airport. It has direct southern access to the I-8 for travel to the West while bypassing Metro area traffic congestion.


Maricopa City limits currently encompass an area of nearly 50 square miles, with a total planning area of 278 square miles.
